Katharine Fletcher guided hikers through primarily hardwood forests and along Meech and Little Meech lakes to discover the ruins of Thomas ‘Carbide’ Willson's generating station and fertilizer plant. The approximately 3.5 km hike traversed undulating terrain. The trip might encounter birds such as mergansers, loons, scarlet tanagers and
