Group members download a monthly paper or article from the group site, read it and dispatch their comments back to the author. The group then hosts a live discussion through Skype toward the end of the month.
All graduate students are invited to join the NiCHE New Scholars Environmental History Reading Group. If you want to participate in the reading group, please email Will at williamknight1@gmail.com and he will register you on the group website where you can download the paper and share comments and thoughts with other members. Participants can submit written comments and/or participate in a live conference call discussion each month. If you want to participate in the live group discussion, just sign up on the group website. Discussion participants can join the conference call using Skype. We invite all New Scholars to participate in this project.
