NHS organizes monthly talks during term, field trips and workshops dealing with the broad themes of Nature, History and Society. Although our core constituency is found in the fields of environmental history and historical geography, our speakers and audience members come from a host of disciplinary and professional backgrounds.
NHS originally grew out of a graduate student reading group in environmental history. We welcome your participation! It was initiated by Graeme Wynn, and later led by Matthew Evenden, Eagle Glassheim and Sean Kheraj. In 2010, Wynn re-assumes the lead role.
